Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Sublingo app and this website, operated by PT Pelita Kode Indonesia. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use Sublingo.

Your account

• You need an account to read stories and save words. One account per person.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@sublingo.co if you think someone else has access to it.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is permanent.
• Sublingo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.

The stories are generated with AI

Every story, illustration, translation and narration in Sublingo is produced with AI systems and reviewed before publishing. We check level, safety and accuracy, and we hold back what fails — but generated content can still contain mistakes, and Sublingo is a learning aid rather than an authority. Do not rely on it for anything that matters legally, medically or financially, and please report anything wrong so we can fix it.

What you may and may not do

• Read, listen, and save words for your own learning — including offline, on your own devices.
• Do not resell, redistribute or republish the stories, audio or illustrations, or scrape the catalog in bulk.
• Do not attempt to break, overload or work around the app’s limits, or use it to harm anyone.
• The stories, illustrations, audio and software remain ours. Your saved words and your progress remain yours.

Subscriptions and payment

Some parts of Sublingo may require a paid subscription. Where they do:

• Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us. We never see your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You cancel through the App Store or Google Play — Profile → Manage Subscription opens the right place.
• Refunds are handled by whichever store you bought through, under their policies. We will help where we can, but we cannot issue a store refund ourselves.
• Prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects a renewal.

Availability

Sublingo is offered as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that every story will remain in the catalog, or that a feature will never change — stories are sometimes withdrawn after review, and features are sometimes removed. We will not remove something you have paid for without telling you.

Ending this agreement

You may stop using Sublingo at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless there is a legal reason not to.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes

If we change these terms materially we will say so in the app before the change applies. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
